Submitting a Clip

After joining a campaign, you submit your clip through the submission form. Here's what each field means and how to avoid common pitfalls.

Clip URL

Paste the public or unlisted link to your clip. This must be a valid URL pointing directly to the video — not a channel page, playlist, or profile. The link is validated on submit, so double-check for typos before proceeding.

Accepted formats include standard YouTube, TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Twitch VOD links. If your clip is hosted on a platform we don't recognize, the form will flag it before you can submit.

Platform Selector

Choose the platform where your clip is hosted. This tells Cretoxy where to pull view data from and ensures your clip is tracked correctly. Select the platform that matches your clip URL — picking the wrong one will cause tracking to fail.

License Agreement

Before submitting, you'll see a checkbox for the license agreement. In plain terms, checking this box means:

  • You grant Cretoxy and the campaign brand the right to display, share, and redistribute your clip as part of the campaign.
  • You confirm you own the rights to the content or have permission to use it.
  • The license is non-exclusive — you keep full ownership and can post or license the clip elsewhere.

You must check this box to submit. If you're unsure about the terms, review the full license in the Terms of Service.

Duplicate-Link Rule

Each clip URL can only be submitted once per campaign. This is enforced automatically — if you try to submit a link that's already been used in the same campaign, the form will show an error and the submission won't go through.

This prevents duplicate entries and ensures view counts stay accurate for each clip. If you need to resubmit, you'll need to use a different URL (e.g. a re-upload or a different cut of the same content).

Clip Caps

Campaigns enforce two types of limits on how many clips you can submit:

Per-creator total cap

The maximum number of clips you can have across all your submissions for a single campaign. Once you hit this limit, you'll need to wait for existing clips to be resolved (approved or rejected) before submitting more.

Per-session cap

A limit on how many clips you can submit in a single session. This prevents bulk submissions and encourages you to focus on quality over quantity.

Example

If a campaign has a cap of 3 clips per creator, your 4th submission will be blocked. You'll see a clear error message telling you you've reached the limit.

After Submitting

Once you hit submit, your clip enters Pending status. Here's what happens next:

  1. View tracking begins — Cretoxy starts monitoring your clip's view count.
  2. Threshold check — your clip must reach the campaign's minimum view threshold before it can be reviewed.
  3. Review — once the threshold is met, an admin reviews your clip to confirm it meets campaign guidelines.
  4. Approval & payout — approved clips are marked as such and you can request your payout.

You can track all of this from your Dashboard at any time.
